The new Canon A490 and A495 replace its highly popular predecessor A480. This entry level camera is designed for the first time user who has to do nothing but point and shoot. Both A3100IS and A3000IS come with almost the same feature expects that A3100IS has 12.1 Mega Pixel sensors while A3000Is has 10 Mega Pixel cameras. Hence A3000IS is little cheaper than A3100IS.
